About James Volpe

James Volpe was a player for the Jackson Memorial Varsity baseball team who passed away in an auto accident May 13, 2011. He was really an amazing young man who truly was taken before his time. His dedication to baseball really stood out among the rest.

From the age of 3 years old, James’s character began to mold to cast him into the great and dedicated player that he was. Ever since then he always was looking for improvement and was ready for any obstacle that came his way. From his very first years as a YMCA player to his very last as a Jackson Jaguar and all in between including; Rampage, Holbrook, and other travel teams, James continued his love of baseball with strong devotion. Academically, James was a smart, strong willed kid who truly worked to the best of his abilities, and his grades that followed reflected his hard work.

Neural Activity teaches “True drug prevention comes from building confidence over fears”. Founded in Colorado, they are new to New Jersey where we need an organization like them. Please take a moment to watch the video linked here, and if you know of any teens in our area who want to be mentors please reach out to Neural Activity.
